PARIS, 17 JUN | Vietnam's largest private airline- VietJet Air, has announced today at the Paris Air Show that they would be ordering 100 new Airbus A321neo jets, with options for 50 more.
The airline has an almost all-Airbus fleet, with 17 A320s, 72 A321s, 7 A330s and 2 COMAC ARJ21s at the time of writing. Besides this current order of 100 A321neos, the airline had previously ordered a grand total of 152 of the type since 2016 to expand its global network and modernise its fleet.
The A321neo is the largest member of Airbus' best-selling A320neo Family, offering unparalleled range and performance. By incorporating new generation engines and Sharklets, the A321neo brings a 50% noise reduction and more than 20% fuel savings and CO₂ reduction compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, while maximising passenger comfort in the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky.
