Singapore Airlines Expands Codeshare Agreements

Today, Singapore Airlines has expanded codeshare agreements with Garuda Indonesia, Malaysia Airlines and Virgin Australia on numerous routes. This will strengthen relationships between the two parties, and will allow for seamless transits for passengers between the airlines.

Firstly, Garuda Indonesia has partnered with Singapore Airlines for a codeshare on Singapore Airlines' Singapore to Johannesburg route, as SQ478/GA8976 and SQ479/GA8977.

Secondly, Malaysia Airlines has come up with a codeshare agreement on Singapore Airlines flights to London Heathrow and Rome, adding to the already extensive codeshare agreements on flights to Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.

Lastly, Virgin Australia will codeshare on 42 destinations covering 23 countries on the Singapore Airlines network, including Ho Chi Minh City, Seoul, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Jakarta and many more. Besides this, Singapore Airlines will continue to offer codeshare flights on 64 routes covering 31 destinations on Virgin Australia's domestic and international network, including the addition of Queenstown in New Zealand.
