BOC Aviation Orders More LEAP Engines for their Jets

SINGAPORE AIRSHOW 2022 (DAY 2) | Aircraft lessor BOC Aviation has ordered 8 sets of CFM International's LEAP 1A engines for BOC's A320neo family aircraft during the Singapore Airshow today.

When purchasing an A320neo, customers have a choice of choosing the LEAP 1A engine or the Pratt and Whitney GTF engine.

Once delivered in 2023, it will being the total amount of CFM-powered aircraft in BOC's fleet to 486.

Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation said:

CFM engines have powered our fleet since 1998, and we are pleased to build on this long-standing relationship. This contract signifies our continued confidence in the CFM LEAP engine and reflects our customers’ satisfaction in CFM LEAP-powered A320NEO aircraft as an efficient and reliable airframe and engine combination
