Air Canada Expands European Network With 5 New Routes

MONTREAL, 25 NOV | Canadian flag carrier, Air Canada has announced today that they will be launching 5 new routes to 5 European destinations from Canada for the Summer 2026 season.
Air Canada is expanding its network with new non-stop flights from Montreal to Berlin and Nantes, each operating 3 times a week. From Toronto, the airline will introduce service to Ponta Delgada in the Azores, while Halifax will gain a second international route with new flights to Brussels. The airline will also resume its seasonal Montreal–Tel Aviv service next summer.
Seasonal nonstop service between Montreal and Berlin will operate from July 2 to October 10 2026, with departures from Montreal on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and return flights from Berlin on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. It will be operated by their Airbus A321XLR aircraft with lie-flat business class and economy class.
Additionally, seasonal nonstop service between Montreal and Nantes will operate from June 10 to October 11 2026. Flights from Montreal will run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with return flights from Nantes on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays using a narrowbody aircraft.
Flights between Toronto and Ponta Delgada will be offered from June 11 to September 5 2026. Departures from Toronto will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return flights from Ponta Delgada on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using a narrowbody aircraft.
Flights between Halifax and Brussels will operate from June 18 to September 5 2026. Flights from Halifax will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return flights from Brussels on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. This complements the airline's current services from Brussels to Montreal and Toronto (seasonal). It will also be operated by a narrowbody jet.
Lastly, services between Montreal and Tel Aviv will operate from June 5 to October 23 2026. Departures from Montreal will be on Fridays and Sundays, with return flights from Tel Aviv on Mondays and Saturdays. It will be operated using their fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, together with their Toronto-Tel Aviv service.
